Several Deer Killed By Lightning

SALEM, Wis. -- Lightning killed seven deer in Salem, just north of the Illinois border in Kenosha County.
The Department of Natural Resources says the deer were likely killed during storms Sunday night.
Neighbors found the deer dead in the field.
The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department says the herd was likely drinking from puddles when the lightning hit them.
Officials are leaving the deer in the field to let nature take its course.
